The new single from Sydney four-piece THE RUBENS is ‘DON’T EVER WANT TO BE FOUND’, a blues soaked number with copious amounts of soul.
Hailing from Menangle in country NSW, THE RUBENS are brothers Sam, Elliott and Zaac Margin and good friend Scott Baldwin. Forming in early 2011, their home recorded track ‘Lay It Down’ blew everyone away at radio and hit #57 in the 2011 triple j Hottest 100.
THE RUBENS’ recent national tour was huge and saw them sell-out all their shows across the country including four nights at Melbourne’s Northcote Social Club and three nights at Sydney’s GoodGod Small Club. They’ll be hitting the road again over the coming weeks as they join Lanie Lane on her ‘Bangity Bang’ national tour.
THE RUBENS recently spent some time in New York recording their debut album with producer David Kahne (Paul McCartney, Regina Spektor, The Strokes) which will be released later this year.
