PLEADER (FEAT. THE AGE OF L.U.N.A) [MR. JUKES REMIX]
(single out now through Liberator Music/Infectious Music/BMG)

Mr. Jukes, the new project of former Bombay Bicycle Club frontman Jack Steadman, has remixed alt-J’s latest single ‘Pleader’.

Mr. Jukes has called upon London hip hop group The Age Of L.U.N.A for vocals on the track, combining their singing and rap with the original vocals from ‘Pleader’ which were recorded by the Ely Cathedral boys choir. The result is a remix that sounds wholly different to the original heartfelt song, but maintains its heavenly charm.

‘Pleader’ is lifted from alt-J’s third album RELAXER. Released on 2 June, RELAXER went straight to #4 on the ARIA Chart, and was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize, the UK’s most prestigious music award. alt-J will be touring Australia and New Zealand in support of RELAXER this December.
