“frenetic, juddering borderline break beat coupled with fragmented guitar stabs that carry with them the feeling of off-kilter experimental jazz.” – The Line Of Best Fit

“a pent-up, storming trooper of a track in the shape of ‘Feel It’. It is fuelled by pounding, break-neck beats and strained vocals from main man Darius Keeler that help in building this overwhelming expression of tension, as it bombs along on the road to destruction.” – The 405

“Feel It, is an absolute stormer, riding on a shuffling beat, with strung-out vocals and startling charges of garage rock guitar” – Telegraph

‘Feel It’ is the new single to be released from Archive’s tenth studio album, Restriction. Bearing a leaner, hungrier, direct edge this time, ‘Feel It’ is like a mutant hybrid of skiffle and dubstep. Founding member, Darius Keeler says that “’Feel It’ has a positive message.”

New album, ‘Restriction’ was produced by longtime collaborator Jerome Devoise and Archive, and will be released worldwide on the band’s own Dangervisit label via [PIAS] Australia on 12th January 2015. Speaking about the new album, Keeler goes on to say: “We set out to make an album with 12 individual and distinct songs, all coming from a similar place but at the same time musically diverse and unique. One of the things I love about Archive is the way we’ve been able to change and evolve with each record and take our fans on a journey. ‘Restriction’ is the next leg of the journey and I can’t wait to share it with the people who matter most.” Restriction features the vocal prowess of Australia’s own Holly Martin. | |
