Broderick Smith has today released his eleventh studio album Man Out Of Time, his first new solo album in ten years. From Man Out Of Time comes the single ‘The Desert Blooms Again’.

‘The Desert Blooms Again’ is a continuation of ‘Unknown Country from Brod’s previous album of the same name. In ‘Unknown Country’ the character walks into an unknown wilderness trying to find some meaning, and in ‘The Desert Blooms Again’ the character returns to the town, having realised that what he was looking for was with him all along.

Broderick Smith has been making music for almost fifty years, and has been involved in the songwriting of over 200 songs. Beginning his career in Carson, he joined The Dingoes when they formed in 1973, the pioneering group that combined rhythm & blues with bush music to develop a unique Australian country rock sound. Following The Dingoes, Brod fronted various bands under his name. In 2009 he was inducted into the ARIA Hall Of Fame for his incredible work with The Dingoes, and he now runs workshops on songwriting, harmonica and singing, and continues to write and tour.

Brod will release an autobiography also titled Man Out Of Time in October, detailing his incredible musical adventure. After all these years, nobody compares to Broderick Smith.
