SHED SEVEN
‘VICTORIA’
(taken from Instant Pleasures album out now through LIBERATOR MUSIC/BMG)

Shed Seven are celebrating their phoenix-like return by announcing a new single, ‘Victoria’, ahead of their first-ever Australian tour this month. ‘Victoria’ is taken from the band’s first album in 16 years, Instant Pleasures, which charted at number eight on the UK Official Album Charts, matching the band’s highest position in their heyday.

This month Shed Seven will tour Australia for the first time in their incredible 28 year career, playing songs from Instant Pleasures and their myriad of Britpop hits.

“Playing live in Australia has been right at the top of our bucket list for years”, said the band. “It eluded us in the 90’s so we are ridiculously excited to finally be coming over to play these shows. We get so many great messages from fans in Australia and can’t wait to finally bring our show over for you… Bring your best singing voices!”

Shed Seven were one of the leading lights of Britpop. They have two UK gold albums, 15 UK Top 40 singles, and four UK Top 20 albums under their belt. After breaking up in 2003, Shed Seven reformed for a greatest hits tour in 2007 and have periodically played shows since. Instant Pleasures was their first new music since the release of Truth Be Told in 2001.
