The Creases

‘It’s Alright’ is the new single from The Creases’ adored debut album, Tremolow.

“It’s Alright is a special one for us as we all wrote it together completely from start to finish.
The song encapsulates nearly everything musically we were trying to do on this record.”

Released in September 2017, Tremolow has won the hearts of listeners and cemented the band’s status as one of the most exciting young acts in the country. ‘It’s Alright’ is one of the many highlights from the LP and displays dense guitar work, classic synths and Joe Agius’ aptitude for melody. ‘It’s Alright’ follows previous singles, ‘Answer To’, ‘Is It Love’, ‘Impact’ and ‘Everybody Knows’. Like these gems, it’s cleverly infused with The Creases’ deep love of the 80s and 90s.

The precocious Brisbane locals wasted no time in backing up their breakthrough year of 2017. They’ve just wrapped up a national summer tour in January, which featured a set at the Australian Open Live Stage and 4 headline shows, including two in their hometown after the first sold out quickly.

Over the past 6 months, The Creases released a record, played Falls Festival and Gizzfest, toured nationally with Two Door Cinema Club and Bad//Dreems, and were named one of the most hyped artists at Bigsound. In addition, they covered New Radicals’ indie hit, ‘You Get What You Give’ on triple j’s Like A Version and released 5 videos, most of which were self-directed and produced. Their latest for ‘Answer To’ was filmed on the blisteringly hot Tremolow album tour, where they packed out their largest rooms to date. Fans have another chance to see the bands renowned live show at the upcoming Mountain Sounds Festival, Twilight at Taronga and Party in the Park. Tickets from

Tremolow was delivered to glowing reviews and has since been shortlisted for The Australian Music Prize. All singles from the album have been added to rotation on triple j, making the band #31 most played on the station last year. They’ve taken up the airwaves of 4ZZZ, Radio Adelaide and UK’s Beats 1 and appeared on popular Spotify and Apple Music playlists around the world.

If January has already been full swing for The Creases, then watch out 2018.
