‘Live For The Moment’ is the new single from The Sherlocks, taken from their debut album of the same name.

‘Live For The Moment’ has just been added to rotation on BBC Radio 1, following a stint as presenter Greg James’ Tune Of The Week. The track was initially premiered on Radio 1 by Huw Stephens, who is a long-time supporter of the band.

‘Live For The Moment’ is an energetic song that bristles with confidence and triumph. Filled with big bold drums, a galloping bassline, an infectious guitar riff, and a vocal that’s delivered with heartfelt honesty, the track is a wiry alt-rock blast in the vein of Arctic Monkeys. All about enjoying life despite all its tangled twists, the song truly does inspire the listener to live for the moment.

‘Live For The Moment’ follows the band’s previous singles ‘Chasing Shadows’ which was added to BBC 6 Music, and ‘Was It Really Worth It?’ which reached #1 on the UK Vinyl Singles Chart.

The Sherlocks have been relentlessly touring throughout the UK ahead of the release of their debut album, which has just been released. The young band headlined the BBC Introducing stage at Glastonbury this year and earnt coveted support slots for DMA’S and Kings Of Leon. Coming up, the band will play Reading and Leeds festival before embarking on a UK headline tour.

The Sherlocks are a young band with unquenchable ambition, and they are going from strength-to-strength.
