TOTALLY ENORMOUS EXTINCT DINOSAURS
‘DON’T YOU FORGET ABOUT ME’
(single out now through I OH YOU/Liberator Music/Nice Age)

Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs has returned with another new single ‘Don’t You Forget About Me’, the follow up to ‘Leave A Light On’. His second new track in as many months, after a four year break from releasing new material. Featuring Dave Okumu (The Invisible) on guitar and written and co-produced with Julian Bunetta (better known for his more pop output with the likes of One Direction and Maroon 5 ), ‘Don’t You Forget About Me’ picks up where ‘Leave A Light On’ left off. An emotional ballad that turns into an R&B foot stomper, via a guitar riff for the ages. After its release last week, ‘Don’t You Forget About Me’ shot to #1 on Hype Machine.

Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, born Orlando Higginbottom, is a producer, songwriter, vocalist, composer and DJ. Now based in Los Angeles, he grew up in England, where his father was professor of music at Oxford University’s New College. Raised on classical music — Rossini, Holst and Gershwin were early favourites — he discovered jungle and drum n’ bass as a teen at Oxford’s legendary record shop, Avid. Dropping out of university a couple of times led to early demos being discovered by Huw Stephens (BBC Radio 1) and Greco Roman Records. His debut album Trouble was released in 2012 to great critical acclaim, and led to several years touring a now legendary live show, including appearances at Falls Festival, Listen Out, Beyond The Valley and Field Day.
