“Wolf Alice have taken flight” – 5*, DORK

“a genuine masterpiece” 10/10, Drowned In Sound

“These are anthemic, headlining songs from a band fast becoming one of our finest”  4*, Q Magazine

“Alt-rock superstars in waiting… a brilliantly spellbinding second album” 4*, Kerrang!

“It has a head, a tail and a massive great beating heart. Their time is now” 4*, MOJO

On the eve of their anticipated Laneway Festival 2018 appearance, Wolf Alice, one of the biggest breakthrough independent bands of recent years, release a Charli XCX x Post Precious remix of their acclaimed 2017 single, ‘Don’t Delete The Kisses’. After covering ‘Don’t Delete the Kisses’ on triple J, Charli XCX has teamed up with American duo Post Precious to give Wolf Alice’s modern tale of love and self-doubt a slow-burning electropop twist. The track was premiered on Beats 1 as their World Record.

Lifted from the band’s acclaimed second album Visions Of A Life, which debuted in the UK charts at number two and was named in the top three best albums of 2017 by NME, Q and Drowned in Sound, ‘Don’t Delete the Kisses’ is a sentimental love song for people who don’t do sentimental love songs. The track was a favourite for many triple j listeners in 2017 – reaching the #1 most played spot, and voted for by the likes of Linda Marigliano in the station’s forthcoming Hottest 100.

Wolf Alice are Ellie Rowsell (vocals, guitar), Joff Oddie (guitar, vocals), Theo Ellis (bass) and Joel Amey (drums, vocals). The band’s 2015 debut album My Love Is Cool hit No. 2 in the UK charts in June of that year, and No. 12 on the Billboard alternative albums chart in the US. They were nominated for the Mercury prize, Ivor Novello Award, a Brit for Breakthrough Act and Grammy for Best Rock Performance, and took an NME Award for Best Live Band. They crisscrossed the UK, the US, Australia (Falls Festival 2014, Splendour in the Grass 2015 + headline shows), Japan and Europe on the mother of all two-year tours.

Visions Of A Life is fundamentally a personal album, and one of great growth for Wolf Alice. From opener ‘Heavenward’ through to the epic, eight-minute closing title track, it’s packed with surprises for those who think they know what Wolf Alice’s shtick is.
